Join us and explore the magnificent Great Orme, which offers expansive, panoramic views that, on clear days, are often said to encompass seven distinct areas, including views over Anglesey, the Snowdonia/Carneddau mountain range, and Liverpool Bay. The summit provides 360-degree vistas across the Irish Sea, the town of Llandudno, and toward the Menai Strait.
Our experienced qualified local guide will share with you the key views and Sightseeing from the Great Orme:
- Mountain Ranges: Spectacular views of the Carneddau range in Snowdonia National Park.
- Coastal & Marine: Views of Liverpool Bay, the Irish Sea, and the Menai Strait.
- Landmarks & Areas: The Isle of Anglesey, Llandudno town, Conwy Bay, and on very clear days, distant views towards the Lake District or Isle of Man.
- Historical Sites: St. Tudno’s Church, Bronze Age Copper Mines, the summit building and the Rest and Be Thankful Café.
- Activities: The summit is accessible via the Great Orme Tramway or cable car, offering unique perspectives of the coastline.
Learn how this amazing headland came to be and which is now a Special Area of Conservation, providing not only scenic views but also rich wildlife, including wild Kashmiri goats.
